چکیده
An experiment was conducted on nutrient management approaches using RDF, SSNM, STCR and expert under different rice ecosystem slow release nitrogen sources viz., neem coated urea supergranules. The initial final soil N content analyzed at active tillering, panicle initiation, milking stages harvest of direct seeded transplanted rice. three-way interaction (M x S) proved that a significantly higher value available in noticed SSNM (6 t ha-1) treated plot with (M2N3S2) tillering stage (245.96 kg (213.46 ha-1), respectively, while application NCU through approach (7 (M1N4S2) obtained maximum initiation (229.18 for the yield target 7 ha-1 (M1N2S2) (218.15 ha-1).

Nitrogen availability and uptake as influenced by time of application and N sources in semi-dry rice (Oryza sativa)
295 Semi dry rice refers to rice which is sown on dry seed bed as an upland crop taking advantage of monsoon rains. At fourth or fifth leaf stage, when the rainfall intensifies or sufficient water is released from the tank or irrigation projects, the field is converted to wet land rice. The major barrier in improving the productivity of rice in this system is inefficient use of important plant ...
متن کاملRice yield, nitrogen utilization and ammonia volatilization as influenced by modified rice cultivation at varying nitrogen rates
Field experiments were conducted in 2006 to investigate the impacts of modified rice cultivation systems on: grain yield, N uptake, ammonia volatilization from rice soil and N use efficiency (ANUE, agronomic N use efficiency; and PFP, partial factor productivity of applied N). The trials compared rice production using modified methods of irrigation, planting, weeding and nutrient management (th...
متن کاملApproaches towards nitrogen- and phosphorus-efficient rice
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Food production has to increase to meet the demand of a growing population. In light of the high energy costs and increasingly scarce resources, future agricultural systems have to be more productive and more efficient in terms of inputs such as fertilizer and water. The development of rice varieties with high yield under low-nutrient conditions has therefore become a breedi...
متن کاملEffect of nitrogen supplying sources on nitrogen use efficiency in rice (Oryza sativa L. cv. Shiroudi)
The use of nitrogen fertilizer has a key role in enhancing agricultural productivity worldwide. In order to achieve an effective approach to enhance nitrogen use efficiency in rice, a field experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications and 13 treatments on Shiroudi, a high yielding rice cultivar in Rice Research Institute of Iran (Amol) in 2015 and 2016....
متن کاملNickel Availability in Soil as Influenced by Liming and Its Role in Soybean Nitrogen Metabolism
Nickel (Ni) availability in soil varies as a function of pH. Plants require Ni in small quantities for normal development, especially in legumes due its role in nitrogen (N) metabolism. This study investigated the effect of soil base saturation, and Ni amendments on Ni uptake, N accumulation in the leaves and grains, as well as to evaluate organic acids changes in soybean. In addition, two N as...
